Together, they are collaborating on the interdisciplinary project “Capital Cities: Understanding Wealth Concentration in the Startup Ecosystems of Berlin and Paris.”

The symposium brought together the funded projects under this funding program to discuss interim results, network with one another, and advance the further development of the projects. The exchange provided valuable insights for theoretical and methodological development. For the Capital Cities project, the discussion on data collection issues was particularly fruitful. The insights into the experiences of other projects offered important starting points for further research.

Furthermore, the symposium once again highlighted how relevant research on wealth is for understanding societal developments. Current challenges, potential solutions, and perspectives for knowledge transfer were discussed.
