Annual review from the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research
Looking back on the year at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research
At the end of 2025, the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research at the Jackstädt Centre, funded by the Jackstädt Foundation, looks back on a crucial phase of development. With the appointment of Prof. Dr Julia de Groote as chair holder, the future research and teaching profile of the University of Wuppertal in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation has been strategically expanded.
At the same time, the development of the chair team has been driven forward and initial research priorities have been established, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurial ecosystems and the sustainable transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Looking ahead to 2026, the chair will continue to expand its research activities, promote new research projects and promote the transfer of knowledge into (local) entrepreneurial practice.
After commencing teaching in 2025, the chair will continue to expand its range of courses in the coming year and intensify its exchange with students in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes in various teaching formats and in the supervision of theses.
The entire team at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research would like to thank all cooperation partners for their support over the past year and wishes them a restful Christmas holiday and a successful start to the new year 2026.
